Waypoint — Privacy Policy

Waypoint is a GPS-powered location pin app built by Greycastel. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and what is shared.

Data stored on your device

All of the following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

Waypoint does not have a server or backend. We do not collect, store, or have access to your location history, pins, or photos.

Location and sensor data

Waypoint requests access to your device's GPS and compass (magnetometer) to provide its core functionality: saving locations and navigating back to them. Location and sensor data is used in real time on your device and is not recorded, transmitted, or shared.

Camera

Waypoint can access your camera to let you take photos of saved locations. Photos are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded or shared.

Third-party services

Waypoint uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. When you make a purchase, RevenueCat processes the transaction through Apple's App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat may collect:

Analytics

Waypoint does not include any analytics or tracking SDKs.

Children's privacy

Waypoint is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
